La Promesa is brought to you by Calle Del Tango, a Toronto-based non-profit bringing the art and culture of Argentine tango to life through social dance, cultural events, and welcoming weekly programming. What began as a small initiative among friends has grown into a community-driven organization creating spaces where dancers connect, learn, and celebrate tango together.

La Promesa carries that same spirit forward and opens it up to a much bigger stage. The festival brings together rising artists and emerging voices who are helping shape where tango is headed, alongside a community eager to be part of that journey. It is our promise to the dance and to the people moving it forward.
